Sarah Coponat began playing piano at age 3, entered the Marseille National Conservatory at 5.

Nourished by Debussy, Ravel, Rachmaninov, and Liszt, but also by progressive rock, jazz, and world music. Neoclassical by roots, romantic by nature, cinematic by instinct.

She composes and improvises for music lovers and for those discovering the piano alike, and both come away transformed.

Those who attend her concerts bear witness: « I felt like I was being taken somewhere. I traveled. Watching her improvise is like listening to the soundtrack of her own life. » — Marc Laforêt, international concert pianist, First Prize Chopin.

Her recognition crosses borders. Invited by Rolling Stone Magazine, she performed in their New York studios. Her audience has taken her on tour through France, Senegal, Berlin, and Amsterdam. She has played before thousands at festivals (Sanary-sous-les-étoiles, the Popcorn Festival) as well as on prestigious stages, notably Salle Cortot (2025, sold out, standing ovation), the Cité de l’Architecture in Paris (2025, sold out, standing ovation), and the Hôtel de la Marine (March 2026, sold out, standing ovation). She also composed and performed the new anthem of the French National Basketball League for the Supercup final at Roland-Garros.

In 2025, Sarah composed her first original scores for a PlayStation video game as well as for award-winning short films.

Online, she has built a community of tens of thousands of devoted listeners around her live improvisation streams. A nickname emerged naturally, given by those who have followed her from the start: « the Chopin of Twitch. »

Embroidered kimonos, burgundy velvet, warm light and gold: on stage, Sarah Coponat unfolds a maximalist aesthetic that extends her music. A coherent visual identity, conceived as a total spectacle: a journey whose destination she herself does not yet know the moment her hands touch the keys.
